Yes To Cucumbers Natural Glow Facial Towelettes

So this post is quite a big deal for me as this month I broke up with my facial wipes.... I know, I know, it is sad but I was ready for a change, to try experiment, to try something different. I had read reviews of Yes To Cucumbers Natural Glow Facial Towelettes- $7.95 and I love cucumbers as they instantly make me think of fresh and clean so I thought I would give these guys a go. I have not been dissapointed, they smell incredibly fresh which is nice of a night time when I am feeling lazy but need to take off makeup. They take off heavy duty makeup really easy and they are very soft on my skin, not harsh or pulley at all- which you can find sometimes.

I found them at Priceline and they are a real gem-I think I am converted!

Have you tried any of the Yes To range? I am keen to try more!

Dermalogica giving your skin a chance to have a clean start!

Sometimes we all need a little helping hand, I know my skin does. Right now I am suffering from a hormonal breakout and I am not happy. Recently I was sent a couple of little goodies which are these fantastic little introduction sets each with a specific purpose.

major breakout mini kit
We dedicated an entire kit to solving the #1 young adult skin issue: breakouts!
Wash Off (50 ml)
Bedtime for Breakouts (15 ml)
Hit the Spot (3 ml)
RRP: $28.00

This pack contains everything you need to fight your acne. The cleanser smells like jaffa chocolates (yummo) and is a foaming cleanser (these are particularily great on young skin as the absorb the excess oil that comes with teenage years). Then of a night you apply the Beadtime for Breakouts which is a clear gel which really gets into the pimples to help dry, heal and erase the pimples and then my fave Hit the Spot which you put directly on the pimple and can be applied whenever you need to, this baby really sicks those pimples in their tracks, I apply it very frequently and then poof gone! This will really be a new fave for me.

get glowing mini kit
Exfoliate and illuminate to get skin glowing – perfect for formal, graduation and beyond!
Ready, Set, Scrub! (15 ml)
Brighten Up SPF15 (15 ml)
Smart Mouth Lip Shine (3 ml)
RRP: $28.00

This kit to me is like all those little extras everyone should have but may not. The scrub is actually a mask/scrub, you apply it like a mask and leave it on for 10-15 mins then when you wash it off, I like to do so with a hot, damp face cloth which I gently rub the mask off in circular motions which really exfoliates my face and leaves my skin feeling baby smooth after.
The Brighten Up is a great little tinted moisturiser with SPF, I really love this, I have been using it every day and you only need a tiny amount as it spreads really far, gives light coverage and is moisturising.
The Smart Mouth Lip Shine is a lovely little lip balm which is perfect for this Winter weather

To me, the kits are really affordable for what they offer, I have been using the cleanser and tinter mosituriser every day for weeks and they show no sign of being used up. These are great if you are prone to breakouts every now and again and want to have this kit handy for when you want to attack them or if you have or are a teenager who is looking to get into skin care but you don't really know where to start.

You can find Dermalogica: From Salons nationally or visiting Adore beauty at www.adorebeauty.com.au

Where to apply eye cream correctly and my current fave!

Now, I would think I wouldn't need to tell you, kind reader, about how important eye creams are, as I sit up all night thinking "please, please make sure my readers are putting on their eye cream" (honestly I do) but what worries me more so is that you might not be applying them correctly. Not applying eye creams correctly can lead to bruising the area and darker circles and god only knows what else, truly it can be so bad for you. The skin around your eye area is so super duper thin and sensitive that it needs to get treated as gently as you would a baby duckling, so I am going to share with you my top tips...
First off when you apply eye cream please do so with your ring finger, why? Well your ring finger has the smallest amount of pressure of all your fingers and you are less likely to go heave handed.
Next DO NOT pull on the area, bad! Bad! Bad! I have shown you a diagram (sorry about the etch-a-sketch appearance) of where you should apply the eye cream, you do not, as what was commonly known need to apply it all over your eye lid and all underneath your eye -so keep your mitts away.
Notice that in the picture you are applying the cream along your bone lines so above your eye lid and underneath your eye, feel those bones now... do it..... Your natural body heat will actually work the product to the areas right up under your eye and on your eye lid, your body is clever like that.
The next point is when you apply it you go from the inner corner near your nose and outwards, never back in. This acts like lymphatic drainage on your sinuses and you don't want to go pushing all that fluid back, it can also decrease puffy eyes! Win!
When I apply my eye cream I almost dab it on actually ever so gently, as I want my eye area looking as free of bags and wrinkles for as long as possible, don't you too? I remember watching an episode of Sex and the City when Carrie was swanning around her apartment getting ready for bed and all inner monologue like and she was applying eye cream in this exact dabbing like motion, no rubs or pulls there!

Now on to the products- my current fave right now is the newish Benefit B.Right It's Potent Eye Cream-$58.  I love this little gem, not only is it really easily absorbed and with no scent, but it doesn't still my eyes and it keeps fine lines at bay.
This is what Benefit have to say: 'It's Potent' Eye Cream contains a peptide complex known to help restore elasticity and firmness, a blend of hydrating botanical extracts including apple extract, known to help boost collagen, and loquat extract, known to help protect the skin from free radical damage.

I have been using this product for months now and I love it, my eyes love it too, for me, this really is a stand out in the whole skincare collection, which I will tell you more about soon.

So now you all know how to correctly apply your eye creams, I hope this has been helpful!

I haven't done a tips and tricks blog in a while, I apologise for that and I will try do more. If there is a topic in particular you would like me to blog about, please let me know.

Will you all be applying your eye cream properly now?

You can find Benefit at selected Myer and David Jones or online at www.adorebeauty.com.au

Kiehl's Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate REVIEW!

When you think of Vitamin C, what do you think of? Oranges maybe? Or a way to get rid of that pesky cold or to prevent one from coming on? Well I urge you guys to think of Vitamin C as a big helping hand for our skin.
Vitamin C seriously is amazing for your skin, it evens your skintone and decreases wrinkles- honestly it really does and the product I have been loving with all its Vitamin C goodness is Kiehl's  Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate-$89. This little product contains 10.5% pure Vitamin C which is some pretty hefty quantities.

This nifty little image below explains it all well...

You use this serum on clean, dry skin and it has a faint chemical smell which goes away straight away. The formular is white in consistency and I make sure I give the bottle a shake before I apply as the formular gets a little gluggy otherwise. Once you apply it on your skin it almost feels like a primer, you know that really smooth feeling you get when you apply them? Just a word of warning though, be careful around the eye area, go no where near it as if it gets in your eyes it stings like no tomorrow!

Sometimes when I apply it, I almost feel a light tingly, stinging feeling which last maybe 10 seconds but to me that just means its working.

Since using this product I have noticed the sun spots on my face fading and my acne scars fading as well as a all round glow to my skin. Vitamin C really is the shit, I am telling you and like the poster says it is just as powerful as retinol and I love that it gets deep into my skin to heal it and make it glow.

I just want to say though that like nearly every serum I have ever tried (gosh that's a lot) you really need to give the product up to a month to notice the difference and to take effect.

You can find Kiehl's products from their stands a David Jones and Myer, their flagship store in Paddington and now on their website www.kiehls.com.au.

Have you realised the wonder that is Vitamin C?

A true classic perfume: Kiehl's Orginal Musk

It is a bottle I have seen a million times over the years and yet until recently I had never actually tried this little gem and now I wonder why! The Perfume I am referring to is Kiehl's Original Musk-$80. I visited Canberra on the weekend to take my new car for a good drive and to visit a gorgeous friends of mine Yasmin who had recently had a cute as a button bub who I was dying to meet.

This friend of mine is always so perfect with her appearance and whenever I come over I am always keen to snoop in her beauty shelves to see what she has been using and loving at the moment. One area which my friend excels in knowledge is perfumes, she really knows her stuff, I love them too and I think it really was because of her I finally realised that women really should own a perfume wardrobe to suit different seasons and occasions.

Since having her bubba she commented that so many of her perfumes are just too over powering now and so she has just been sticking to the simple and classic Original Musk. I realised that they don't call this perfume a classic for no reason, when I first smelt this perfume on her skin it smelt like a grown up version of Musk sweets but what I loved was how it developed on her skin and my god it lasts well.

Who the perfume is described by Kiehl's: Our special Musk “recipe” begins with an initial creamy, fresh citrus burst of Bergamot Nectar and Orange Blossom...followed by a soft floral bouquet of Rose, Lily, Ylang-Ylang and Neroli. Finally, Original Musk Eau de Toilette dries down to a warm, sensual Oriental finish of Tonka Bean, White Patchouli and, of course, Musk...the soul of this distinctively modern scent.

My gorgeous friend has given me little samples to take home to use myself and I think I have had it on my non-stop and I am loving it, it is the kind of scent where people go, wow I love what your wearing, who is it? -but no one can actually place it.
I will be buying a nice big bottle of this for myself and wearing it all the time as my new fave scent, I find it perfect for this Winter weather as it is as comforting as a warm hug or a mug of hot chocolate.

The bottle is divine as it is so old fashioned and antique which just makes it that little bit more special.

You can find this beauitful bottle by calling Kiehl's on 02 9326 9980 or visiting their counters.

Have you tried this perfume? What is your favourite "warm hug" perfume for Winter?

Kardashian Kolours: Nicole by OPI

If you have been living under a rock you would be forgiven for not knowing that the famous Kardashian Klan are bringing out a new Kollection of Kolours (ok, ok I'll stop). The collaboration with Nicole by OPI is among a long list of celebs to have joined and designed their own collection. I think from memory this range seems to be the biggest but then again that's the Kardashians for you- always doing things bigger and better then anyone else.

Sisters Khloe and Kourtney modelling their new range
The full range is here:

The range includes:

All Kendall-ed Up – a bright pink girly shade
Sealed with a Kris – an intense dark red tone
Kim-pletely In Love – a soft, delicate ballet pink
Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam – an eye-catching dark emerald hue
Kourt is Red-y for a Pedi - a classy, timeless red tone
Rainbow in the S-kylie - a striking glittery shade with multicolored specks, which will go great over colours or on its own
Disco Dolls - a glittery golden hue
Listen to Your Momager! – a striking deep blue tone
Wear Something Spar-kylie - a feminine rose pink glittery shade
It’s All About the Glam – a shimmering-white glitz hue
Follow Me on Glitter – an alluring glittery deep grey
Kendall on the Katwalk – a sparkly blue-green tone
My Empire… My Rules – an ultra flatting taupe tone
Hard Kourt Fashionista - an attention-grabbing deep brown tone

Plenty of sickening "k's" that's for sure...
What do I think? Well I am actually really impressed with this line, taking from someone who when watches Keeping up with the Kardashians and pays attention to their nail colours I really think it keeps with their style and what they are known for.

There are so many different colours and shades and loving the sparkly colours too!

I hope we get them out here!
So what do you think? Do you have a favourite?

Would you buy them?

Lauren Conrad does Ombre Nails and now you can too!

Oh LC, I love when you bring out something new and inspiring that instantly makes us all want to try it. Sometimes there are trends sitting in the back waiting just waiting for a celeb to jump on the bandwagon and BANG huge popularity! Think back to when LC wore baby blue nails for instance...

Her newest trend to try is Ombre nails... or a graduated mani.

What does this involve? Well it is taking 5 colours from light pastel to darker and then black and gradually getting darker on each finger and repeating on other hand. There have been a few trends popping up of people having one finger a different colour or the whole hand 10 different colours for each finger which are a fun way to brighten up your mani.

It is super fun and no reason why you can't try it too!

Here are the colours I used:

And my finishing product!!!!!

To die, right?

Have you tried this look before? Will you try it? Love it/ Hate it? I want to know...

Quick and Easy Hair Treatment from Schwarzkopf

Good lord, if you are not living in Sydney then right now consider yourself lucky, we are getting an absolute beating my mother nature like no other. There is the wind the rain and then the cold which is playing havoc on us right now and my hair is copping most of it. The thing is I have really long hair and I really only like wearing it out as I really suck at styling my hair and whenever I wear it up I feel like I look really young, anyway... So with this weather my poor hair is just getting beaten. In this weather everytime I wash my hair which is every 2-3 days depending on whether I have been running or not I put a treatment through it just to help the poor bugger face another day. The treatment I have been reaching for more often then any other right now is Schwarzkopf Extra Care Liquid Silk Repair and Gloss Treatment- $7.99 If you can get over the fact that it has a really long name you would find a really amazing, lazy girls leave in hair treatment. When I towel dry my hair I just spray this all over and comb my hair. Now before I get into the technical side I want to tell you my favourite part, it is a fantastic detangler! I don't know if you guys when you were kids, you used to have bottles of detangler which worked a treat, my hair was always so long and knotted as a kid and spraying some of this made my life so much easier and I am feeling exactly the same way. As this is a spray bottle there is no sticky fingers as you try work the product in and I never feel like I need to be precious with how much I use because it is too expensive or that it will cause product build up leading to limp hair.

Now moving over to the technical side this little spray contains wonder hair ingredient of the moment "liquid keratin" which really, really repairs damaged hair, right down to the damn hair follicle, it fills in any gaps which each hair follicle may have which is what happens to damaged hair, enough little gaps and the hair breaks... not cool huh?

This product also smells just gorgeous and leaves my hair feeling really soft, silky (as they say it will) and ready to fight another god awful Winter day.

So tell me, are you using hair treatments to look after your hair?

Are you living somewhere with nice weather right now? Or maybe don't tell me that...

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2

So I just wanted to do another quick post to let you all know about the last installment of the Harry Potter series. I am a HUGE fan and have read all the books many times. I saw the movie on Wednesday night when it first came out with my sister, something we have done for many of the other movies and my being the hopeless person I am saw the Part 1 on DVD the night before as my memory sometimes, gosh it is terrible. So once I was nice and all caught up we were ready to go. Let me just tell you that we were not at all dissapointed, the drama and action was fantastic, you finally see Hermoine and Ron hook up which is just as akward and adorable as you read in the books and for the final show down they really give it the attention it deserves for such a momentous occasion.

There were many, many times we both got a bit teary, we laughed and got really excited and yes people clapped- not us though, we are not "those" kind of people.

If you have seen any of the movies or read any of the books I highly, highly recommend you go see this history making finale to a great series of movies.

So great to have watched such fantastic actors grow up on the big screen.

Have you seen the movie yet?

The Male Files- Keeping your man looking mighty fine!

My man, bless him is rather hopeless when it comes to grooming, luckily his hair looks amazing without the need of any product whatsoever... *swoon* Sorry I lose my point... We were sent a big loot of goodies from Gilette Fusion products and I thought finally a reason to get my man to finally start to appreciate all the work I put into myself to make me look and feel good and also so he could appreciate how great it will actually make his skin feel. He gets terribly sensitive skin when he shaves and this could finally be the ticket he needs.

The first product he tried was the Gillette Fusion Thermal Face Scrub-$12.99 never to have used a scrub before I was trying to demonstrate how to use this product and when I said you rub it in with circular motions he just laughed at me, hmm maybe this is more of a girl comment. Sorry back to the reivew, when he used this scrub he commented that the scrub feels a lot smoother to apply then he expected and does actually make his skin feel really warm. The warming scrub helps clear away excess dirt and oil (something guys really notice a lot more) and prepares the hair for shaving. Already after using product his skin feels so much softer something he is definitely not used to.

The second product he tried was the Gillette Fusion Hydra Gel Shaving Cream- $7.34.  This shaving foam even though it isn't as foamy as others he has used in the past he did comment that it was a lot easier to shave with this gel to foam than others. What I like is that the product contains Aloe and Vitamin E, my man gets a terrible shaving rash and these ingredients really help to gently protect his skin, I have noticed a huge difference in the reddness he normally gets down his neck.

When it acutally comes down to the shaving this is without a doubt his new favourite toy. The Gillette Fushion ProGlide™ Power-$16.99 really makes his life so much easier, not only does the vibrations make it easier to get a nice clean shave but it really helps to get to the harder to reach areas under his jawline and he needs to apply much less pressure then other razors.

Lastly for after the shaving is the Gillette Intense Cooling Balm-$11.99 like all the rest of the products in this range smells nice and manly and when he applies this product the ultra cold sensation definitley wakes him up and feels so nice and fresh. This product really helps make his skin feel so much softer then it ever has before. Rather than just shaving and scraping his skin leaving it red and raw he is finally protecting the skin, preparing it and treating it.

Now whilst I haven't yet got my man to use products everyday, I do now know that everytime he shaves (roughly every 10 days) he will now use these products. If your man sounds similiar to this then he needs these products, it has made such a positive difference for his skin and soft kissable skin is not a bad thing for me either!

Has your man tried Gilletter? Does your man use products?

Breaking through the Winter Barrier with Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque

I feel like all my blogs start the same lately, Winter is doing crap to my skin like it is to everyone's skin and so... my savior which I have been using for months is this wonder product. The product I have been using is Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque-$34. I actually have gotten the greatest benefit of this product before I left for Thailand. When I knew I had an impending tropical holiday/ wedding I was attending when I knew I would be bare faced and care free the last thing I wanted to worry about was covering up from spots, something that constantly concerns me. I know that clay based prodz are perfect for spots and blemishes as they draw out impurities. This masque helps get rid of surface dirt which unfortunately is what can clog pores leading to breakouts, for me I think it's more a hormal problem as I am pretty damn good at keeping my skin in top condition I think. So on a random note ingredients in this clay were sourced from the Marajo Island in the Amazon river- oh come on! I honeslty always wonder, who just goes, you know we need some clay masque we are developing, where shall we get it from, hmmm lets get it from the Amazon! Anyway, I get distracted thinking of the Amazon.

How does this product work for me? When I apply it, which I do twice a week FYI, I apply a thin layer on freshly cleansed skin and leave on for about 15 mins until it gets all dry and crackly and then with a wash cloth soaked in warm water I gently wipe the masque off in circular motions further exfolitating my skin. I make sure I apply it underneath my jaw line as well as I know many women, myself included can expierence most breakouts there.

After all the product has been removed my skin "glows" no bull! I cannot begin to describe how beautiful and clear it looks, I feel like my skin looks younger, radiant and healthy, trust me this is such a winner, when used regularily my imperfections really cleared up and made my skin just perfect for when I went away. I didn't have to worry once about covering up any ugly pimples, such a nice feeling.

Seriously though if you have skin which even remotely sounds like mine then you will benefit from this product and I know with a relatively inexpensice pricetag it is a product which will be on high rotation in my beauty cabinet for a really long time to come.

The masque itself has a earthy smell to it, which is probably the best way I can describe it and feels cool on your skin.
The masque pot-see it's so lovely and thick
With Kiehl's in Australia now being able to purchase online you can find out more here http://www.kiehls.com.au

Review: The Jojoba Company Absolute Serum and Pure Australian Golden Jojoba

The Absolute Serum
The Jojoba Company is a fantastic Australian grown company which has risen among the international brands hitting our shores and has stayed true to it's Aussie roots. I was lucky enough recently to be able to try both their Absolute Serum and their  Pure Australian Golden Jojoba.

To start off with I would like to mention that all the Jojoba products contain no nasties including; parabeens, sulfates, Paraffin, artificial colours or fragrances among many others, WIN! I just love hearing about this from brands, to me it means they have stayed true to themselves and the products they are offereing.

The Absolute Serum-$79.95 is an anti-ageing serum has 2 particular ingredients  called Silymarin and carnosine which help do the usual "anti-ageing" thing of reducing fine lines and plump your skin. It also contains my fave wonder ingredient Hyaluronic Acid which helps your skin hold in the hydration and it has vitamin C which I have also said before is perfect at healing imperfections in your skin.

When I use this serum I notice that it is very light and you only need the smallest amount as it goes a long way. When I gently move the product into my skin, my skin feels hydrated and well loved, something we all really need with this nasty weather. (If you live in Sydney right now, how crazy has this wind been? So unkind for your skin). I notice with my skin that the fine lines which become more prominent when I know my skin is dry have lessened and my skin is returning to it's "glow". The product smells beautiful and natural and really is a pleasure to use and I will keep using it for sure.

The second product Pure Australian Golden Jojoba-$18.95 is a wonderful liquid wax. Liquid wax you ask?? Yes liquid wax, this product which jojoba call "natures natural wrinkle fighter which is also a antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, hypo-allergenic and analgesic" contains wonderful anti-oxidants, as well as your omega 6 and 9 among many others really does wonders.

How it works is really interesting, it is carried in through your skin through your skins sebum or oil carrying vessels its the sebum which naturally acts to moisturise our skin. This product aims to assist this process which decreases as we age. What for me, I loved about this product is that is can be used anywhere, not just for your face, I know my poor legs can really suffer in this weather, no matter how much I moisturise so this product really helps to get that moisture back into my skin, no more scaly legs.

The other great part of this product is the price, it's cheap as chippies and means you can bump up to a bigger bottle. The recent new fave way to use this product though is as a deeply moisturising hair mask, just pop it in your washed hair over night and wash out the next day, trust me your hair will be ridic soft!

I highly recommend supporting this great Australian brand.

I finally got my hands on a Clinique Chubby Stick

Oh the Chubby Sticks, how I have swooned over you since I saw your very first press release, you have marvelled me with your crayon like appearance and your moistursing capabilites and now you are mine!
When I passed through Sydney International Airport recently I really wanted to get something Duty Free but everything I saw barely had a discount and I could get it cheaper shopping online, then I saw the Chubby Sticks. I thought if I am going to a tropical island where less in more in the makeup department this little bugger would be perfect. I had a play with a few shades but this one the Chunky Cherry had me at hello. It was just the right amount of colour, I know there are a few which are more subtle but I am really NOT about the subtle and when I tried it on my god it was the most beautiful pinky red colour and was so moisturising. The colour not only looks great but is surprisingly long lasting and as I little tip when in need I also popped a little bit on the apples of my cheeks for some colour.

Clinique says the moisturising formula is enriched with a blend of butters, oils and antioxidants and contains shea butter, mango seed butter and jojoba seed oil which makes sense why it feels so damn good!

Since I purchased this baby which retails for $35 it has been a staple in my handbag, a very stylish staple and the fact that it is wind up and looks like a big crayon just makes it that much better.

I highly recommend you guys check these out, if you haven't already, I am just now pondering what other colour I want to buy.... hmmm...

My on Holiday with the chubby (and I am not talking about my boyfriend... )

Back in reality, suit wearing chubby

So tell me, have you got some chubby?

Boots Chemist, where have you been all my life?

Have you guys heard of Boots Chemists before? I swear I all of a sudden feel like I was the LAST person on the face of the planet to hear about them. This chemist which has outstanding products seems to be EVERYWHERE all over the world including at Koh Samui Airport yet not in Australia.
I was recently introduced to Boots when my one day mother-in-law said all she wanted from me when we went to Thailand was beauty products from Boots. Boots? What's Boots, boy was I a fool.
When I finally arrived at Boots, I was in love and really overwhelmed considering I had approximately 2 minutes to find her cream and look around and poss grab something for myself, who am I kidding of cause I was going to get something for myself.
This was the product I ended up with is the Hawaiian Islands- Coconut and Hibiscus Body Butter I think I paid about $10 for it. I was drawn to this cause hell I was on a tropical island and I wanted to bring that amazing feeling back with me. The consistency is super creamy and white and when you open the tub you are overcome with tropical images and wanting to drink out of a coconut. When you apply the cream it is thick but quickly absorbed and a little bit lasts a long way.
This body butter uses organic coconut oil which leaves your skin feeling so soft, I have people feeling my arms all the time commenting on how soft my skin is haha no really it has been so much softer than usual and I am loving that!

Seriously though if you happen to be traveliing overseas soon or know someone that is then beg them to pop into Boots Chemist and grab some of their amazing products.

Have you been to Boots before? I am dying to find another convert!

Hero Beauty Products Whilst in Thailand

OK guys I swear this will be (most probably) my last post about Thailand. I thought you would find this interesting though. I wanted to give you a little insight into what were the HERO products that I used religiously whilst I spent 10 glorious days in Thailand.

The first product is by Sunfx Body Wash $10.95, as I was fake tanned throughout the entire trip it was really important to use a body wash specific for when you are fake tanning. When you are on a tropical holiday the chlorine and salt water alone can fade your tan so the last thing you want is your soap to do the same as well. What I particularily LOVED about this product is that it smells of coconuts which was perfect for the amazing holiday I had, an absolute must for Summer.

The next product I was loving was the KMS California Sol Perfection All Day Defense Protection 24 hour. This product will also be a fave in the coming Summer as it is like sunscreen for your hair. We are all getting better at applying sunscreen to our bodies and our faces but I think a lot of us forget about our hair. This product couldn't be easier to use, I sprayed it on my hair first thing before hopping out into the sun whether my hair was wet or dry as I knew I would be swimming and the like so it wouldn't matter. It is also great to help detangle your hair and contains wonder ingredients such as grapefruit and thyme.

The next product I want to mention is the Shampoo and Conditioner I was using the L'Oreal Professional Expert Shine Blonde Ceraflash -$25. As any fellow blondes will know (as I have recently got ballayage in my hair I put myself in this category) you need to protect it. Chlorine and sun damage can totally change the colour you originally wanted. What my amazing hairdresser recommended was getting a silver shampoo. The silver shampoo neutralise the brasiness which can occur and prevents it from fading. The "silver" shampoo is actually purple colour and I really enjoyed using both whilst I was away. The bottles are quite small and are expensive and are $25 each it worked well for me when I was travelling as I didn't want to take big bottles away but I might not buy again until Summer when I need that protection again.

There are a lot more products I want to talk about but I like them so much I think they deserve their own posts.

Have you tried any of these products before?
