My FOTD for a Hens Night!

I thought I would share with you today a FOTD which I did for my friend hens night (who is getting married in Thailand-for those following at home). I branched out from what I would normally do and since it is Winter and I was wearing a black dress I thought statement eyemakeup is worth it.

These are my peacock eyes...

I wanted the look to be quite soft on the eyes not too bold and overpowering. I kept my lips soft in a muted pink and really amped up the blush which I used NARS Orgasm-naturally, that added shimmer in it makes a huge difference at night.

Once I had finished the eye shadow I applied a thick liquid eyeliner on top as well.

I used a different translucent powder to the one I had the shocking expierence with which you can read here

This new translucent powder is by current hot favourite brand Face of Australia and it has restored my face in Transulcent powders. See the colour of the powder is flesh coloured? The last one I used looked white so it went on white.

In the above pics there is not even the slightest hint of visible powder and my makeup lasted well into the morning *cough cough*.

The other point I wanted to make is the size of the jar is massive, this baby is going to last me donkeys years which is fab news! Again so much better than the last one I was using.

One of my gorgeous friends Celia- and see no white makeup on me!
What do you think?

Did you enjoy my FOTD post? I think I might start doing more.
