Bio-Ionic One Pass- For those girls who are serious about straightening their hair

Recently I was given the opportunity to try the Bio-Ionic One Pass Hair Straightener.
It has been on the market for a while but I had never heard of it before. It is marketed as a professional hair straightener.

It claims to be the "Fastest Straightening Iron Ever" and has Silcone Speed Strips which aim to protect your hair. They say that it "accelerates the straightening process by breaking down water molecules to penetrate the cuticle, adding extra hydration and managebility to all hair types". So this actually benefits your hair.

When I used it on my hair I noticed it heated up really quickly which is a plus and boy did it make my hair shiny, so, so shiny. My hair looked really healthy after using it as well.
Now when you look at it, it might not be the most attractive machine compared to say the GHD but what I want is something that actually works.

This machine is perfect for girls who are serious about straightening their hair. You can't curl with this machine but boy can it straighten your hair. It actually straighens from the inner core of the hair follicle outwards. Those little blue strips cut down the time it takes to straighten making the whole process much faster and condition your hair as you straighen it.

AMENDED: Thanks to my lovely reader Ms T I have been informed that you can actually curl with it you just need to be careful not to apply too much tension on it. x
I really liked that it can adjust the temperature. That's one thing that annoys me about the GHD. The GHD is set at 220 degrees which I have been told for my hair is way too hot and I can actually feel the damage being done to my hair. That kind of heat is for really coarse hair. My hair only needs 180 degrees which I can adjust the temperature to on the One Pass.

It has a really long cord which is handy for the bathroom or bedroom if you have odd placed powerpoints like I do.

Metalic Silver Nail Polish- On trend with a tan for Summer

Shiny, disco balls that's a shiny nail polish!
Yet another purchase by Rimmel is this silver polish called "Your Majesty"
It is so affordable and this one is in their Long Lasting Range so I am keen to see how it pans out.
I really love this colour it is so metallic, I don't know if I will wear it on my fingernails much but on my toes for sure.
I think it will be great with a tan in Summer and will really make my toe nails stand out.
On my fingers and toes it's like an extension on my jewelery and now I am wanting for find a gold colour!

Short & Sweet- How to disguise growing out brows...

I have booked myself in to go and see Lien Davies from Brows and Makeup in a couple of weeks so I am trying not to touch my brows in the meantime. I am really trying to give her something to work with when I see her. I also need some massive shaping done!

Now I have dark brows so instead of looking like a hairy animal I have been employing this sneaky trick to disguise my brows growing out, which you can do too!

So here is the before-I know my eyebrows are terrible...(The things I share in the name of Blogging)

Here is the after...(Sorry it is a little fuzzy, don't know why I couldn't get a good close up)

What I have done: Is taken a white/ silver or even gold coloured eye shadow, and applied it under the brow line. This not only highlights and accentuates the arch but it covers up any unsightly stray brows.

I love that it illuminates my face as well I find it frames my face well too.

It is good to use a mixture of colours to find a good shade, I find making it the lightest right under the brow and then blending it out wards.

LUSH- Dream Cream, dream by name and dream by nature!

This is by far my favourite beauty product from Lush, you know why I know I can say this? Well I have bought about 5 or so tubs of it that's why.
The cream I am talking about is "Dream Cream"-$28.95. 
This little beauty is absolutely ah-maz-ing! The smell is divine, and you know why that's because they crammed rose, olive oil, cocoa butter, Chamomile, tea tree and lavender... yummmm...It smells refreshing, herbal and natural.

If I could eat it I would, but instead I prefer to use it to moisturise my body and to give massages! ;-)
It is actually perfect for massages, jokes aside, because of all its essential oils, unlike most moisturisers this just keeps rubbing into your skin without drying out and needing to apply more. It's the perfect line between a body oil and a moisturiser.

It makes my skin feel amazing afterwards. I wouldn't use this on my face as it is very thick but as a massaging cream its divine.

Why you need it? For the next time your boyfriend decided he wants to give you a massage (haha) or the next time you can bribe him into it!

Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish- Sky High

Here is one of my latest Nail Polish purchases.

This is Rimmel 60 Seconds in Sky High.

The colour is actually has a little bit more green so it appears a lot more turquoise then this picture.
This line of nail polishes are great. They are nifty little bottles and really affordable about $6 (I find the prices vary from store to store and quite often these are discounted at Priceline).
They really do dry as fast as they claim and come in a great variety of colours.
What is also interesting and you can just see on the lid is it has a "xpress brush 1 sec application" this means the brush is really wide and almost shaped like your nail, I don't know if I would say it is 1 second but it definitely makes the process much faster.

I have this polish in black as well. I almost don't need 2 coats but I do like the colour to be quite dramatic.

I will easily use this colour right through Summer.

It's that time of the year again ladies... MOvember....

It's that time of the year again ladies, the time I have been dreading all year.... MOvember!

The whole reasoning behind it is to raise money and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. 

So this is the one time of the year when I am not allowed to nag my man to shave and I just have to live with it!

Oh Joy!

First Video Blog- Understanding Fake-tanning Products

Hi Guys,

This is my first Video Beauty Blog and it is all about the world of Fake Tanning!
What I wanted to do was give you a big run down of all the different types on the market, when to use them and a few tips and tricks along the way.
