My lord, could this woman be anymore divine? Miranda Kerr Twitpic this picture last night when she had finished getting ready and was now ready to make her runway appearance for the David Jones Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show appearance!

I love this look, those bold berry lips and the beautiful old world hair do, it is just so perfect. Miranda knows that when you are going to play up a bold lip to keep the eyes simple and with the light pink flushed onto her cheeks she just looks stunning....

Hair Makeover Inspiration

So this Saturday I am finally getting my haircut. I know this is such a terrible confession as I am normally so diligent with getting my hair cut each 5-8weeks but I have not had my hair cut in 6 months. I know, I know I can hear your gasps from here...So instead of just getting a trim not only am I in desperate need of that but by golly I need some colour, my regrowth is about 10cm long and I feel like other than my hair being long which I want, I have no shape to my hair style any more. Think of me like a blank canvas!

So I have been thinking long and hard about what in the heck do I want to do with my hair. I know I want to keep it long and still no fringe (I had one for ages and I am loving long layers at the front) so It is more about the colour do I go lighter, stay light, go darker... all of the above???

At this point I thought I would submit some inspiration images and see what you all thought?

I have enlisted a really fabulous hairdresser for my "makeover" on Saturday and I will post the before and afters then!

I love her soft Ballayage going from Darker at the roots to lighter

I love her honey brown which I like so much more than a reddy brown

Then there is Miranda "never put a foot wrong" Kerr who really nails this brown

So are you sort of seeing the direction I think I want to go to? I want to go a little more warm brown with more ashy honey blonde undertones then red undertones. 

So I guess we shall just wait and see.

CFDA Fashion Awards-Miranda Kerr looking mighty fine!!

Until today I had not heard of the CFDA which stands for the Council of Fashion Designers of America and each year they throw a big party to honour outstanding contributions. For me it was just a chance to have a perve on the fashion and the beauty in particular Mirander Kerr sent my heart a flutter. 

Mirander Kerr wore a Michael Kors risque gown which really accentuated her figure, man childbirth has been good to that woman!

What I love about this look well it is many things, first of all it is her natural sun kissed beauty which is shining through. She does not (appear to) have caked on heavy makeup and her eye makeup is natural. She pulls of the sleeked back hair which I know I am yet to feel comfortable enough to pull off. 

My goodness those legs and that body, definitely inspiration for me as I try lose these last kilos before I go to Thailand next week. 

All in all a smashing look, when you are going to have a statement outfit such as this it is a great idea to tone down the rest of your look to let that feature shine though.

I find that as Summer gets closer and I begin to realise I need to up my fitness, celebrity bikini pics not only inspire me by creating near panic in my head but they also point me in the direction of bikini trends.

What I have learn from these pics:

• Gold costume jewellery goes great with dark colours and apparently should be left on when you go in the water
• White bikini can look good, just make sure you have a good tan (fake) going on first
• Khaki Green is a great colour to look out for and fedora hats are great beach accessories
• Turquoise is always a hot colour
• Mix and match your accessories with your bikini and big sunnies are always a winner
