Handy Work- Hissyfit, Keeping your hands young and beautiful

If you are like me and are sun conscious, good girl! If not, you should learn, really you should learn, like now...
One thing I have learnt over the years is that first of all, you should be wearing sun protection in some shape or form every day...This includes wearing sunscreen either in tinted moisturiser or actual sunscreen, a hat, clothes that actually cover you and sunnies. Sunnies keep you from getting those nasty wrinkles from squinting!
The nifty extra piece of advice that I got was when you apply your sunscreen to your face you should also apply it down your neck and to your decollatage and lastly to your HANDS! Yes, your hands! Hands are one of the first areas to show signs of damage and ageing so you need to protect your hands, pronto!
Now I don't normally write a review so soon after receiving a product but I was bursting with joy to tell you all about this little one!
This is where the guys at Hissyfit have come up with the goods!
This handcream called Handy Work- $24.95 has SPF 30+ so it gives your hands which, quite frankly see more sunshine then any other body part, full protection!
So as you apply your handcream throughout the day you know you are giving your hands the best chance to retain their youthfullness.
The cream has a rather unusual scent of orange and mint which smells a bit like jaffas. It is really moisturising and is really non greasy thanks to its Aloe and Vitamin E.
I keep this baby at my desk/handbag to reapply throughout the day, especially before I pop outside, like normal sunscreen.
The great thing is that it doesn't "feel" like a sunscreen!

You can find Hissyfit products: At David Jones and selected chemists. Also online at www.hissyfit.com.au

An amazing, natural, luxurious handcream from Sodashi

I love my handcreams and I churn through them like they are going out of style as my hands get so dry and cracked and I need to try really hard to make sure it doesn't happen.
The latest one for me to try is this beautiful new brand I have come across called Sodashi.
The handcream is called Hand Rescue Cream- $68.40. It contains wonderful ingredients such as avocado oil, macadamia oil, vitamin E, Shea butter, grape fruit seed oil, lemon and rosewood. Some of my absolute favourite nourishing ingredients. The smell is amazing and when applied at night I actually think it helps me sleep as it is so soothing.
The cream is so rich in beautiful oils that you don't need much, which in my opinion makes up for the cost.
The bottle is amazing and is made out of black glass. I think the only disadvantage is that I can't carry this baby in my handbag so I just leave it on my nightstand.
This cream screams luxury and considering it is also chemical free it is beyond worth it.

You can find this cream: In salons which you can find in their salon locator so click HERE.

You can also buy: Online at the Sodashi website http://www.sodashi.com/

I can't wait to try all the other products as they are so amazing.

Hand cream good enough to eat!

Grown- Vanilla and Orange Peel handcream- $21.60
These changes in seasons are wreaking havoc on my skin. I especially feel like around my cuticles gets really dry, so I have always been a big fan of hand cream. I have always enjoyed after having my nightly shower when I hop into bed, slathering my hands in a nice thick hand cream only to wake up in the morning with beautiful soft mittens.

This cream is one of my favourites. I don't know if you have been introduced to this brand before but you really should check it out. You can view the full range here This cream is vanilla and orange peel and smells like cookies, I could eat this up if I was allowed to, honestly the smell is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!

Not only does it smell great but it is so nice and thick without being too greasy. It contains antioxidants from grape seed, wheat germ and rosehip oil which helps to nourish and protect your skin.

The rosehip and camellia seed oil increase the skins lipid content which helps to restore moisture levels, keeping your hands hydrated and not dried out (like mine can be)

There are so many other amazing products which I will get into at a later date but if you are looking for a great hand cream then keep an eye out for this one.

Where can I find it:  Well I have seen them at DJ's and selected stores, so keep an eye out.
